Mattawa..What? We first met Katie and Chip as guests at a wedding we shot last summer, when we heard they we’re engaged we secretly hoped they would consider us for the job! Well, as fait would have it wasn’t but a few months later we received a phone call that they would like us to travel up to Mattawa, Washington to shoot their country wedding at their family vineyard. We were so excited, it was a little challenging navigating in a far place ( thank God for the Garmin)! As soon as we found the anxious couple on the hottest day of the year we sprang in to action and found this country vineyard wedding to much like our own, intimate and down to earth! They weren’t about the fluff, but about the marriage and that was so refreshing even at 107+ degrees!
