OH, it is LOVE! These two shared such a closeness on their wedding day. You could feel the joy, excitement and great bond that the two share right from their “first look” that we set up for them amongst the poplar trees and mountain backdrop. Brandon’s parents so graciously opened their beautiful home in Tumalo, Oregon to set the stage for their union. We first met Christina and Brandon at the Central Oregon Wedding Expo last year where their giddy nature drew us in as they expressed how important photography was to them on their special day. We love photographing weddings, but we LOVE, LOVE photographing weddings where the couple is willing to go outside the box with us like these two did and make the images their own. We can capture moments and help create them with beautiful light and settings but it is up to the couple to share ideas and emotions that make those moments real and memorable. I just have to say this wedding ran so smoothly, it was almost unreal! Matt and Laci along with their family and friends put together one of the most seamless events we have ever photographed. Our “Bud-light Babe” enjoyed every second of it, you couldn’t take a picture of Laci where she wasn’t glowing. The whole cliche that girls wait their whole lives for their wedding day rang true for her, I heard her utter the words to her beaming new Groom that this was Thee Best Day of her Life. And she meant it, and he delivered! Way to go! The weather was perfect, the day was perfect what more could anyone ask? Our first Senior Portrait Session of the season with many more to follow! Jaimee came to us wanting something unique as most our seniors do. We headed out to Smith Rocks and found some fun and different areas to shoot around. She was such a great sport with such natural ease in front of the camera!
