This was a wonderful central oregon wedding up at Black Butte Ranch. It really is a great place to get some great mountain views. Wes and Laurel are amazing people, and Kacie and I had a wonderful time being apart of their day. Well for those of you who haven’t heard we have another new addition! It’s a girl! Our beautiful little Allium, “alli” is what we call her. All of our dogs names’ are after flowers. Last Christmas I put a deposit down on a bird hunting puppy out of Washington for Kyle prior to becoming pregnant mind you! Kyle and I had this great plan: We would have a baby then a puppy and then another baby with several years in between, well considering I am 6 months pregnant that didn’t work out as “planned” but we are enjoying our hectic life as usual! She is absolutely adorable and comes from one of the best breeders in the nation so she should do really well for Kyle. We had quite an adventure picking her up. Kyle and I run a tight schedule during the summer as most of our business takes place during that time so we decided to make a quick day trip to Spokane Washington and back (12 hours total). We left our house at 5:30 am and got home at 12:30 am. It was all worth it thought, she is a wonderful little pup and Grace loves her so much. Check out the proof for yourself!
WOW! “wow,” isn’t even the start of the word that I am looking for when I think of these two! Kyle and I had blast getting to know Bethany and Jeff, we knew that we had a slight connection as we met them at our first consultation but after spending a few hours photographing them and having a great meal together we soon realized that this is a couple that we will remain close with for years. It’s so exciting to be able to photograph a wedding but to photograph a wedding where the couple share such a great bond with each other and us makes our job so much more rewarding!
